Now that autumn is officially upon us and every coffee shop rolls out a menu that reads like a Yankee Candle scent list, I have a confession to make: I really don’t like pumpkin spice.

When it’s cold outside and the leaves start turning yellow, what I really crave is a hot chocolate or strong black coffee to wake me up. So this autumn, I’m leaving the squash and cinnamon lattes to Starbucks and going with my gut at the salon.
